Rage against Racism: Meetings and discussion at Marxism 2015
Events in the United States have shone a spotlight on the issue of police racism and violence.
Racists and right wingers are trying to use the terrible killings in Paris to divide working people, justify imperialist intervention and whip up Islamophobia.  The attacks came as racists and fascists are on the offensive across Europe.
And in Britain politicians – and UKIP in particular – seek to profit from racism.

In just a few weeks on 21 March anti racists will take to the streets to show that there is opposition and an alternative to racism. For more details go to http://uaf.org.uk/2015/02/stand-up-to-racism-and-fascism-21-march-2015-2/

We need to rage against racism on the streets on 21 March in the run up to the General Election. We also need clear strategies for stopping the racists and fascists.

Marxism 2015 will be a place for such discussion. There will be a whole range of meetings including ones on
  • Malcolm X
  • Selma and the Civil Rights Movement
  • Police, racism and the state
  • Islamophobia
  • After Charlie Hebdo: Religion, racism and free speech
